The Batmobile made its Hot Wheels debut in the 2004 First Editions series. It is based upon the vehicle from the 1989 Batman movie.
The Batmobile from the 1989 Batman movie had a Chevy Impala chassis, the tail lights of a Ferrari, the fuel caps of a London bus, the headlights of a Honda Civic, and jet engine parts from a Harrier Jump Jet.
